Zettai Kareshi 絶対彼氏
Got a few dramas on my ‘to watch list’ for the spring/summer. One of them being Zettai Kareshi 絶対彼氏(ぜったいかれし or Absolute Boyfriend). I have no idea if I’ll like it or not, but I’ve been downloading the episodes so far. I enjoyed Hayami Mokomichi (Tenjo Knight) in Gokusen and seeing as we are only 10cm apart in height (guess who is taller!) I guess I have some sort of obligation to watch the guy.
Robot maker, Kronos Heaven, finally develops “Night Tenjo”, the perfect male humanoid programmed to be devoted and completely loyal to his lover. The company chooses temp worker Izawa Riko to take part in a 5-day free trial. At first, Riko only sees Night as a household appliance. But when she finds out how deep Night’s devotion to herself is, Riko finds herself falling in love with him. Joining the love triangle is Asamoto Soshi, a distinguished young executive at her company who has feelings for her. –Fuji TV

Hello. I’m an avid fan of Zettai Kareshi back then. I really got hooked in the manga and I’m so glad that the live action is now there to further gratify my addiction.
Right now, I’m currently patiently waiting for the subbed Episode 3 to buff which gave me the chance to come across in your site.
I can’t believe that ZK is indeed popular. At first, I thought other people would deem me weird or eccentric for fantasizing such an anime.
I’m so glad to see multifarious groups and forums about ZK. It made me feel that “I belong” and there are many people out there who could understand my enthusiasm.

Yes… Oguri Shun is good stuff haha, I watched episode 1 of Binbo Danshi the other day and he is pretty hilarious in it. Also pretty good looking haha.

Thanks for the comment. I actually forgot that this series was based off a manga (although it makes so much sense when you think about it haha).
Anything made into a drama usually means that it has been popular enough to sprout interest in something new. If you like ZK I definitely suggest you watch Bambino, Hana Yori Dango, and Yamada Tarou Monogatari (if you haven’t already, & they are all based off manga), to pass the time waiting for the rest of ZK to release.
